It all started in 1991 when family Beirinckx – Van den Brock came to Poland to open a sister company for AB Ramen en Deuren in Belgium. In Wroclaw they set up the West Wood Product International Company, which still offers a wide range of doors and windows made from wood, PVC and
aluminium.

While travelling around Lower Silesia and its surroundings, they visited Ostrowina where they became captivated by the old mill, the adjacent buildings and their surroundings. Even though all the buildings were in a sorry state, they were not discouraged and decided to buy the land and restore the buildings to their former glory. They managed to create a unique place, which is bustling with life again.
